Care Ministry
Our goal is to reach out with God’s love, to those in need
within our congregation and within the community. We promote concern and care
for others through notes, visitation, phone calls and prayer. As a Faith
community we would like to share in times of need, or times of celebration with
you, and with those you care about. We are also able to provide information
regarding Christian
counselling, and educational seminars for personal growth.
Another area of ministry we are involved in is Friends Helping Friends. This is
a facilitating service to allow the people within the church to help out
wherever possible and with whatever gifts they may have.

Compassionate Ministries
The compassionate ministry team’s goal is to respond with Christian love
and concern to people in need in our Church and the Drumheller area by providing
items needed, financial assistance, help in using financial resources wisely,
and by referring those we are unable to assist.

Facilities
I think that you will agree that God has truly blessed us with a beautiful
facility. What you see has been built by our church family. In the spring of
1998 we dug ground for an addition of a sanctuary, foyer, offices and a full
basement. On Thanksgiving Sunday of that same year we began worshipping in the
new facility. Hundreds of volunteer hours have gone into, and continue to go
into this project. We dedicated it to God and His ministry. We hope that you
enjoy your worship here with us. Opportunities exist in this ministry in the
area of cleaning of the building, grounds keeping and upgrades to the building
and property.

Worship
Many opportunities for involvement exist in this area including joining a
worship team either as an instrumentalist or vocalist, performing a special
music piece in a Sunday morning service, playing a
special peace of music for the offertory, leading or joining a special music
production, or helping with the audio or visual controls during the service.

Office & Administration
Our goal is to facilitate the smooth
operation of the Office and Administration area of our church to enable to do
the people-oriented tasks that they are good at and called to do. These are
opportunities which exist in this area allow people to use their gifts and
abilities to make the office work of the church run a little more smoothly.
