These are the beliefs Nazarenes hold to be true. They are common to Christians world–wide:We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living. We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually. We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers. We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

Pastor Glenn was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. He invited Jesus into his heart as a young child at the Hamilton First Church of the Nazarene. While a student in college he became aware of his need to surrender to the Lordship of Jesus and welcomed the deeper cleansing of his life by the Holy Spirit. He received his Bachelor of Theology at Canadian Nazarene College in Winnipeg and the Master of Divinity Degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City. Since graduating in 1979 he and Dorothy have pastored Nazarene congregations in Pickering, Cambridge, and Brantford (Youth Pastor), Ontario; and in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. They began their ministry in Drumheller in December 2009, and are excited to be ministering in Drumheller as they partner with our Church in reaching our community.Glenn and Dorothy were married in Toronto in 1975 and have two children, Julia and Luke. Julia and Richard were married in 2003 and now make Cochrane, Alberta their home along with their children Caydence, Bronwynn, and Preston. Luke currently teaches English in South Korea. In September 2011 the family celebrated the marriage of Luke and Soon-nam here in Drumheller.Pastor Glenn has a caring heart for everyone he encounters. One of his passions in ministry is for the youth of our community. His desire for young people is not just to encounter them on a social level but to challenge them toward Christlikeness. He anticipates the great youth centre of our facilities to be an effective tool in seeing those desires become reality. Dorothy’s ministry passion is in children’s ministry. Their passions do not exclude reaching out to all generations, as they both enjoy using the gift of hospitality, and love to make people of all ages feel at home wherever they are. Pastor Glenn recognizes the potential in every person to fulfill their God-given purpose of service through a life that is surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus. He is excited to see what God has in store for us as we follow God's leading.

3:16- Sundays at 7:00 pm"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.John 3:16The verse is an alphabet of grace, a table of contents to the Christian hope, each word a safe-deposit box of jewels. read it again, slowly and aloud, and note the word that snatches your attention. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” God so loved this world? Heartbreakers, hope-snatchers, and dream-dousers prowl this orb. Dictators rage. Abusers inflict. reverends think they deserve the title. But God loves. And he loves the world so much he gave his: Declarations? Rules? Dicta? Edicts? No. the heart-stilling, mind-bending, deal-making-or-breaking claim of John 3:16 is this: God gave his son . . . his only son. Not abstract ideas but a flesh-wrapped divinity. Why? so that “whoever believes in him shall not perish.”

When we think of married life we automatically think “happily ever after” and while is in fact our inner most desire is to be happily ever after, the reality is much different. A great marriage requires work and commitment. This is where we as a church are committed to partnering with couples to give them the best chance at happily ever after. But before we can even begin to see our dream relationship come to life, we must first understand God’s design for marriage and understand our responsibility within that design. Therefore we are committed to not only strengthening your relationships but also your relationship with God, for it is out of that relationship that pure love will flow and manifest itself in our lives and in your marriage.Join us as we look to fireproof our marriage Starting February 26th at the Calderon’s.

Join us Every Thursday Night From 6:30-8:30 at the ChurchOver the years Youth Ministry has taken many different forms. Youth Ministry has gone from being your typical class room type of ministry to being a fun, crazy and at times even a little dangerous way of learning all about who God is and how we grow closer to Him.At the Drumheller Church of the Nazarene we are committed to partnering with you the parents of young teens to help them understand who God is and how they fit into the grand design of God. In the past Youth ministry has focused on teaching Youth right from wrong, forgetting that a relationship must first be built if we want to have a lasting impact in the lives of our young people. I’m sure all of us have heard the saying “people do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.” This statement stands true today with our young generation, they want to know that they matter and that is what we are committed to doing. We are a ministry in the Drumheller Church of the Nazarene that is committed to helping parents’ educate their children in the ways of the Lord by building caring Godly relationships that will enable us to partner with you and speak into the lives of this young generation. Together we can lead the next generation of spiritual leaders to the glory of God.

The Drumheller Church of the Nazarene was organized in 1913 after a "coal miner’s revival" series. The faithful, continual support of many families has enabled us to minister to the towns and villages that surround our valley. It is with excitement about the past one hundred years of ministry as well as the opportunities that lie in the future that we are making plans for celebrating our Centennial year. It is our hope that these celebrations will rise from our gratitude to God. For almost 100 years we have been sharing God’s love with the communities that now make up the Town of Drumheller. We moved from our location on 5th Street to our present location in the fall of 1996. A forty year old school building was renovated into a very functional sanctuary/ hall/ children’s ministry facility. In the spring of 1998 the present Sanctuary and foyer were added to the facility. Hundreds of volunteer hours made the expansion a reality. On Thanksgiving Sunday of that same year the addition was dedicated to the glory of God and His ministry. We invite you to worship with us. We are building toward the future while remembering the faithfulness of both parishioners and pastoral families who have continued this ministry through many transitions. Our congregation is a blending of all ages which is reflected in the ministries you can explore on our website. Better yet, explore and experience them personally and discover the freshness and vitality that 100 years of ministry experience can offer.

Welcome Send a Child to Camp Dessert Auction Success: A great big thanks to all who came out and helped us raise $1500 dollars. In total we have raised $2,761 Dollars. The Lord is great and so are your caring hearts.
